Senior Camp: Madagascar Jr.
Has your student been itching to learn about what it means to put on a musical production? During this camp, they will spend two weeks learning blocking, choreography, and music, followed by two weekends of performances for the general public.
These shows will be complete with lights, sound, costumes, set pieces, and props. We welcome veterans and theatrical newcomers alike, so please don’t let skill level deter from auditioning! |
Dates: June 3-7, 10-14
Time: 8am- 3pm (lunch break from 12pm-1pm daily)
Performances: June 15-16, 21-23
Ages: Middle School and older (your student must be going into 6th-12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year).
Auditions for camp: May 25th from 10 am-1 pm (all students will be in camp once payment is received; these auditions are preliminary and will take place before the camp to determine which parts each student will play once camp starts.) If callbacks are needed, they will be the same day (May 25th) from 1:30-3 pm.
Please prepare 30-60 seconds of a musical theatre song. Must be able to pull the karaoke track up on their phone. No a capella auditions. A speaker will be provided. Please come dressed for a dance/movement audition. We will also be doing cold reads from the script.
Auditions will take place at the Holly Annex: 61 Enota St, Dahlonega, GA 30533

Cost of camp: $300 (Additional siblings will be given a 10% discount. Sibling tuition must be paid in the box office to receive the discount)
Camp limit: 40 students
You must attend auditions for this camp so that the show can be cast and scripts given out before the camp starts. If you are unable to attend these auditions, you may send in a video audition. Please contact the director ([email protected]) to arrange this.
