Nathan is currently serving on the board as the Artistic Director. He has been involved in the theater for many years, particularly in directing the children's programs. In 2007 he won the Freddie Gershon award for excellence in Children's Theater at the Junior Theater Festival. He is a Dahlonega native and teaches Social Studies at Lumpkin County High School and was named the 2013 Lumpkin County School District Teacher of the Year.

David is a sociologist with over 40 years of college and university teaching experience. His academic and intellectual interests include social stratification, popular culture, and visual sociology. Dave has taught three summers at the University of Paris and one at Zhengzhou University in China. He also earned an MS in exercise physiology and has coached track and field and cross country for 15 years. Dave currently serves as Professor of Sociology at the University of North Georgia and lives with his wife Judy, a Montessori teacher, in Dahlonega, Georgia, the Paris of Lumpkin County. Dave and Judy began volunteering at The Holly in 2007 and in 2010 Dave made his debut on stage in Damn Yankees. He has since appeared in The Importance of Being Earnest, Radio Gals, The Sound of Music, It’s a Wonderful Life and Spamalot. Dave and Judy are the front-of-house managers of The Holly.
