BEAR ON THE SQUARE, APRIL 19, 2008:  Do you have children or grandchildren?  Or, are you planning on attending the 12th Annual Bear on the Square Mountain Music Festival in Dahlonega?  Don't miss the traditional play, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears.. on the Square" at presented by The Holly Children's Theatre, outdoors, at no admission charge, on the town square!

The play was written by local playwright Tim Quigley and is adapted for adults  or teens to present for children (although adults have been known to enjoy watching the kids in the audience participate in this interactive show almost more than the kids themselves!)  It is a mixed up tale of the traditional story of Goldilocks intertwined with the true story of how a real bear cub wandered into Dahlonega's town square in 1996.  Children from the audience are given lines and/or invited up onto stage to play the flowers, trees, firefighters, tourists, and more (and given costume pieces of course).  The audience also makes the sound effects for the production. A great show to bring your camera to!
