Kacey attends Horizon Christian Academy and lives in Dawsonville. She loves theater and has played many roles in local productions, including most recently The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe and TheSound of Music at Horizon Christian Academy and High School Musical at The Holly. Kacey volunteered this Spring as an intern for "Green Eggs and Ham" for ages 3-7 and also played the role of Sam to help the children with their production.
Kacey played Mrs. Mizer, the schoolteacher, in the 2008 Holly Children's Theatre competition team, that WON FIRST PLACE in The National Performing Arts Festival DisneyWorld with Schoolhouse Rock in January. She also won the "Best Monologue" award at the competition for her monologue "Braces" with a "Superior" ranking, adjudicated by judge Tim Herman from NYC.
