| Carly Berg |

(Asst Instructor for Big River Camps; Co-Choreographer and Asst Director for Younger Group in Aristocats Camp; and Asst Instructor for How to Eat Like a Child Camp) Carly Berg is a 16-year-old high school sophomore. Her favorite performances include the Atlanta Opera's Romeo & Juliet and the Fox Theatre's 75th Anniversary Celebration; as well as lead roles in High School Musical (Sharpay; Holly Theatre), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Highlands Playhouse), Annie (SFMS), The Little Mermaid (CYT), Cinderella (The Actor’s Scene), and an episode of Food Network’s Unwrapped. Carly has a true passion for being on stage and has been involved in numerous other productions. She looks forward to performing in Big River at the Holly this Summer as well. At the Holly, Carly has volunteered as an intern for several children's theater productions, has worked as an assistant instructor, choreographer, and more. Recently, she co-choreographed Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Jr. for the Fall show, choreographed for the Fall Annie workshops, and choreographed and performed in the competition team version of "Schoolhouse Rock" that WON FIRST PLACE in DisneyWorld at The National Performing Arts Festival in January of 2008. Also at The National Performing Arts Festival, Carly won an individual award for "Stage Presence" for her part in the team show and she also won the Female Soloist award at the competition for her solo performance of "Popular," with a "Superior" ranking by adjudicator Gloria Willis.
Carly was the Choreographer for "Seussical' this Spring at the Holly, a guest instructor for the "Circus McGurkus" class, and also the Main Instructor/Director for the "Horton Hears a Who" class at the Holly. |
