Holly Theatre Education & Children's Theatre Director

8/09- "I had the amazing opportunity of growing up in the theatre. Growing up with theatre not as a hobby but as a lifestyle gave me a chance to learn so much more about the world around me. I want to share all that I learned and give children the same wonderful experiences. While working in the public schools I saw first hand the influence creative drama has on a student not only creatively but also academically. I feel very passionately that theatre is a wonderful resource for all children to learn and grow. Regardless of a student's rate of learning or learning style, theatre increases their knowledge and understanding by providing new experiences and new perspectives. The Holly Children's Theatre program has grown substantially in the past couple of years and I believe there is no end to that growth in sight. The work the Holly does for children and the community is wonderful and it is an honor to join the team."
