How to Eat Like a Child Acting Camp
June 23 to 27, 9:00am - 3:00pm In this camp, students will concentrate on acting or vocal skills while preparing for the final production of How to Eat Like a Child. Emphasis here is with correct acting or vocal techniques and on performance. There will be a final production at the end of camp for family and friends that may also be opened up to the community, on the Mainstage at the Holly. There will be no costumes or set for this show (except possible coordination of clothing children have at home and using acting cubes on stage), so our young actors can concentrate on the production itself (and this show does not call for costumes or set). "This musical romp through the joys and sorrows of being a child is hilarious. Children give 23 lessons in such subjects as how to beg for a dog, how to torture your sister, how to act after being sent to your room and how to laugh hysterically. The pace is fast, the tone subversive and the recognition instant" (Samuel French One act Revue description). A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to register for this camp and the balance is due anytime before June 23.
