Ages 10-17: The Right to Write, Playwriting Camp

Dates:July 20-24

 In this camp, Students will get to express creative ideas through writing. Students will be led through the in-depth process of brainstorming, drafting, & finalizing a production piece. Students will get a chance to work with guest artists, writers, & directors to learn the complex foundations of playwriting. This camp is perfect for the more introverted, deep thinking students. Each young playwright will get a chance to use inspirations from their own life experiences to conceptualize an original work. There will be a readers theatre style presentation of course work at the end of the camp session. Snacks will be provided & there will be a lunch break midday where students will eat lunches packed from home.
