 Ages 7-14:Who am I Now? Improv Camp

In this camp, students will focus on the skills & techniques used in comedy & improvisation.  Improvisation is a form of theater in which actors use acting techniques to perform spontaneously. Actors typically use audience suggestions to guide the performance as they create their own dialogue, setting, & plot. This camp will teach the basic skills of listening, clarity, confidence, instinct, & comedic timing.  This camp is perfect for your family clown & will be an outlet of performance that might not be found elsewhere.  Students will get the chance to work with local improvisational troupes. While this camp focuses on techniques, there will be a final interactive performance in the style of the hit TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyways?".  Snacks will be provided & there will be a lunch break midday where students will eat lunches packed from home.
